For the first time ever, Hong Kong’s a cappella sensation Eight Five Tunes will appear live in Singapore, the next stop on the group’s Asia journey. The six-member vocal band is an elite group of top singers from four continents, performing hit songs using only sounds of the human voice.
Radio Television Hong Kong has called the group “Phenomenal, astonishing, seamless!” while the British Chamber of Commerce of Hong Kong praised a recent performance, “[Eight Five Tunes] presented a superb performance … you are amazing! I could have listened all night.”
For its opening show, Eight Five Tunes will present a range of international hits, pop favorites and all-new originals live on the Singapore Botanic Gardens Shaw Foundation Symphony Stage. The concert is free of charge and will also include a special appearance by Singapore’s own NUS Resonance, a local a cappella group formed at National University of Singapore.
